We're holding up a mirror to ourselves, to this country, to the world, and asking, what does it mean to be human?

I just had an interview with a gentleman, Professor Lucas E. Morel, who wrote a book called Measuring the Man.

And it's about Frederick Douglass's writings on Abraham Lincoln. Actually, measuring the man, the writings of Frederick Douglass on Abraham Lincoln. And at some point, I realized I was sitting here talking with him. And I was like, we don't know enough. We don't know enough. But we need to know more. And we need to ask some fundamental questions of ourselves in this country that we live in, those of you who are listening to this in the United States. And if you're not of the United States, you need to ask some questions as well, wherever you are in the world, because we are all part of a human dynamic. And that requires us to see one another as people, as human beings, as the same kind of human beings. Maybe not with the same customs and the same values in the same, blah, blah, blah, blah, but we're breathing the same air. And that requires something of us. So I'm really excited to offer to you today this amazing interview. I think we're going to do it in two parts because it's long and I try to
