Hey guys, welcome to the Bronx Pinstripe Show.

Today is Wednesday, March 2nd, and we are officially continued in the lockout.

You know, after Monday, we saw some actual momentum.

And I think a lot of people thought that this was going to get done on Tuesday, and they had the momentum. And I think a lot of people thought that this was going to get done on Tuesday. And they had the

momentum to set a deal up on Tuesday and really get this thing going. They extended the

deadline and moved forward to schedule meeting. So when you when you hear that, that, you know,

this arbitrary

deadline of of Monday night from the, from the league, and then they extended it the next day,

in my eyes, that's, that's, you know, that's a glimmer of hope. That's, that's, that's,

an organization that is, again, an arbitrary deadline, but has pushed it to the next day

and said that, you know, we'll wrap this up essentially by 5 p.m. with a new deadline. Didn't happen,

very clearly, tide turned. Players are not going to, you know, agree to the terms that are,

that are out there right now from MLB. The big, the big deal

here is, is looking at what the players are thinking, how they're, how they're thinking about

this entire thing. And you go to the other side of it. And, you know, as I mentioned in the last

episode, I do believe this whole thing is about precedent

for the owners at the end of the day. It's about precedent. It's about setting up the next agreement.

It's also reacting and using what has happened in the past and staying within that framework,

staying within that framework for percentage growth and not going too far beyond that because it's going
