The questions that we receive more than all others at the Colson Center have to do with

how can we best respond to friends, family members, neighbors who are struggling with gender

dysphoria?

Now, of course, the rational case for humans is either male or female is strong as our

arguments from history, biology, law, and theology.

However, these arguments that would have just yesterday been considered obvious today

can seem to go nowhere, especially with someone who's desperately reaching for answers

or for affirmation about who they really are.

The number of Americans who report personally knowing someone who struggles with gender dysphoria

now approaches about 50%.

That means Christians have to be prepared, at least as best as we can, for the scenarios

that we are now more likely than not to encounter when it comes to this issue.

Because we know that when unprepared to many Christians simply go quiet, and in the process

go along with trans ideology, not necessarily because we believe it, but because rocking

the boat just seems to be too risky.

Rather than actually loving our neighbors, something admittedly difficult, we choose instead

the easier path of never offending and only affirming, and then we name that path the

path of love.

But that path in reality is neither loving nor is it true.
