Good evening, everybody. How are y'all doing? Oh, the week is winding down. What an interesting

week, although I'll say not too bad, right? Holden on to hope as we see coronavirus vaccines

rolling out. But I hope you're prioritizing self-care, centering mental health. Again,

I've been asking myself that every single day.

How's my mental health? I do like a midday check-in and then I even check in at the end of the night,

kind of deciding if I need to maybe reorient my next day or whatnot because, oh, we're isolating. Don't have access to all the things that normally make us feel good, which is going to

bring us to our topic later in the show. We're going to be spending some time talking about the need for human contact, but more importantly, it's borne out of a story about people saying,

forget these rules. I'm getting out there. I need some affection and some eroticism. So we're

going to be talking about the connection between those ideals, both trying to hold the line

and also feeling as though it's not necessarily working. Question

night, as always up on our love that page, way in on that. I want to get into some news. You know,

again, I was talking about this. I think it was last night where I was saying, I'm confused,

that people are still confused about certain things. God bless it. One of them is a 13 year old girl,

right? Young. she got suspended from school

actually it looks like it was from the school bus i don't know how you suspend someone

can you just get suspended from the bus like you can go to school but you can't use the bus

anyway why well she happened to mention on the bus that she's the lesbian and apparently

still that's enough to get you to lose your privilege to ride the bus. Yes. So by the time she got home that day, the school had already called her dad and shared about the suspension. Why are we punishing people for just being who they are? Again, separating out whether or not you like the idea of people being gay and lesbian, the fact is

they are there and they still have a right to education. Whether you agree with that or not,

it's bizarre to me that we're still debating and discussing the worth and rights of certain people.

So this was in Kansas. Basically, the bus driver overheard making the statements or her friends and wrote her up for
