but I say that every night, because every night we do. I work hard on putting these topics together.

So tonight we're talking about financial stress. What? I know. That already, that word probably

spikes everyone's anxiety. Just saying the word finances. Some people are like, stop, stop.

But it's important to talk about, talk about holiday time post-COVID. There's a few things we can psychologically do to kind of make

the impact of it less. But as always, it's important to go into those things that are hard for us

or difficult so we can dismantle, challenge, you know, shift it a little bit.

A new survey, this is coming out of the American Psychological Association,

it said that about approximately 64%.

That's too high.

That's the big number.

64% of Americans report feeling stressed about money.

I get it. It's not ideal with everything

that's going on. I was recounting it in my head the other day and I was thinking the shipping

bottleneck, stuff going on with fair wages and labor shifts and changes about unionizing and wanting,

you know, more money and raising the

minimum wage. And then the holiday times come. And it's just kind of like, it's like a one two

punch or a little bit of a sucker punch, all this. And the holidays definitely bring it up.

And I've been advocating over and over that you can do your holidays differently. It might have

been something where, you know, every year

traditionally there was lots of gifts or gift exchange. You're allowed to say, hey, listen, moving

forward, or at least this year, it's going to be different. We're not going to do that.
