Good evening, everybody. Welcome to the show. Got a great show plan for you. We're going to kind

to do a split topic, a little more family friendly, as they say in the first hour and then

move into something in the second hour. So we're going to spend the first half of the show talking

about little things you can do for new parents. Everyone who's a new parent is like, yes,

there's a lot you can do. And then we'll spend the second half of the show talking about what you need to think about

or consider to have your first three way.

How's that for a dynamic show?

All right, let's jump in.

Things you can do to show up for a new parent in your life.

The first one being show up.

Let's just use that as a grand global narrative.

Don't distance yourself from someone because they are married, had kids, other lifestyle changes.

That's often what people are worried about is the loss of their friends, their social life.

And the friends worry about that as well.

Losing that friend to parenthood or family life. It happens. Things change. And often that is the

course it takes because maybe what you had in common or what you prioritize has changed. Your hours

and where you put your time and energy and focus changes. You're not available on the nights or the

weekends to go drink.

You want to be home.

You want to be with your kid.

Or you don't have a lot to talk about anymore.

Maybe as a parent, you do want to spend time around individuals that also have kids.
