I'm going to open the show talking about some research around getting back together with the exes.

It's bleak. It's bleak. We're going to unpack it, talk about it, learn a lot through that journey.

So whether you're married, single, happily married, happily single, whatever's going on. A lot we can learn all

these different topics. And of course, we'll be sliding into those DMs. So if you got a DM for us,

I read some of these articles. I'm glad that they're honest. They don't sugarcoat anything. So this is just breaking down

and looking at why people get back together with an X. Oh, there's so many reasons. Let's start

with the positive for a second. Let me tell a little story. I have a very good friend of mine from

high school. And her parents just went on such a beautiful journey. And they did it for the right reasons in the right way.

So they're an example of the beneficial positive outcome of leaving lovingly.

So her parents were married, quite happily as far as I could tell.

But who knows what goes on outside the vision and

experiences of someone in high school, because I was a little knucklehead back then. But basically,

they got divorced and they left lovingly, which is what I always hope everyone does, is when

you as an adult, a healthy adult, realize that a relationship you have with another healthy

adult. And sometimes it ends when things are bad. It's not always an ending when things are kind of

neutral or flat, you know, realizing, I don't know if I want to do this sometimes. It's because

things are gnarly. But either way, I think it's really important for everyone to have integrity

and to leave lovingly. Well, they did. You know, I don't know how the process came to be, but I was around them at different times throughout my own lifespan.

So I got to see this.
