Good evening, everybody. How are y'all doing? I hope you guys are doing well. Oh, we're just

sliding into the week. We're coming in hot. We're feeling good. I hope you guys have or had a

relaxing, restful weekend. I definitely did. I've been really trying to prioritize that as much

as possible. I think I talk about it maybe sometimes to nauseam.

But, you know, I do it to inspire.

But I wanted to open the show talking about pets and animals.

I don't talk a lot about it.

I have a cat.

Anyone on my IG has probably seen my beautiful little fur baby's pictures being thrown up there. Talked a little bit

during the lockdown about the importance of having my little nugget. That little baby got me through.

A little bit of energy moving around. Someone greeting me. Someone to spend time with. Because remember,

we were isolating and I was isolating alone. I was living

alone at the time. This was a very different experience. And somewhere in there, I did a little

collab with Vanderpump, Lisa. She has a dog adopting agency company. I don't know what the

deeds are, but they asked me to just do a little video with them talking about the importance of pets for social connection.

And I found a couple more articles talking about it.

And I was like, oh, let's discuss that.

Pets, such an interesting thing.

So, you know, we all need support.

We all need things to help us regulate.

Ideally, we have created safe regulatory relationships with other humans. We all need that,

especially we all need a primary attachment figure throughout the duration of our entire lives.
