My guest this week is the broadcaster, writer and script editor, Emma Freud.

She is something of a natural media chameleon.

She began her career as a TV and radio presenter, and has since written columns and articles

for publications such as The Telegraph, Tatler and The Guardian.

She is the director of Red No's Day for the Charity Comic Relief, which has raised

well over £1 billion in its 33 years of existence.

She's also helped create some of the world's best-loved romantic comedies, script editing

and co-producing films such as Four Weddings in a Funeral, Notting Hill and About Time,

with her partner of 28 years, The Writer and Director, Richard Curtis.

I love it.

I don't see anything wrong with it, but imagine going out with Richard Curtis for 27 years

and not being a romantic or not enjoying the romantic side of this.

Finding it a bit cringey.

Having said that, he's not very romantic.

He writes romantic, but he doesn't, he's not, we never got married.

I did propose to him once.

Oh, I had heard he'd propose to you a number of times.

He's raised me lots of times.

I only did it once and it went very badly.
