Would you turn tonight to the book of Hebrews again?

Let's look at our text that we've been looking at in these sessions.

We've been talking about a wonderful, exciting subject.

Right?

Don't you remember everybody was really excited about it last night?

What are y'all laughing for?

Yeah, we were excited because we're excited about the word.

And this is the word.

You know, a lot of times people, you know, they fancy their self, word people.

But a lot of times there's a whole lot less word than what they think, you know.

But if you love the word, you love all the word.

Right?

Not just your favorite verse.

And you believe all the word's good.

And the part you think you don't like is either the parts you don't understand or the part

you unwilling to do right but it's all good all the word is good and wonderful his word is life

to those that find them and health and medicine to all their flesh.

So let's take some more tonight.

Hebrews 12, and I'm reading to you from the living translation, down in about verse 5, Hebrews 12, 5.

He said, have you quite forgotten the encouraging words God spoke to you his child?

He said, my son, don't be angry when the Lord punishes you.

Don't be discouraged when he has to show you where you are wrong.
