Would you turn with me to Hebrews, the 12th chapter?

And let's continue on in the word that the Lord's been leading us on these services.

Hebrews 12, if you remember from last night, the night before we were all excited,

about the subject of correction.

Remember that? We were all excited and pumped up. When you see this from the word, then you realize

what a positive thing.

Godly correction is, that it's a gift.

Did you hear me?

So a lot of time people haven't thought like that, but godly correction is mercy.

It's grace.

It's divine love.

It's a gift. And when you understand it and you think, right, you'll say,

Lord, correct me. Right? See, I've heard people say ignorant things. You ever heard anybody say

any ignorant things? I've heard people say, oh, don't pray that the Lord would correct you.

No, don't pray that the Lord would teach you about humility.

Oh, no, no, no.

Man, you're alive.

You pray like that.

Who, ain't no telling what will happen to you?

That's ignorance.

I said that's ignorance and immaturity. No, if you're off, you need to get back on.

And the sooner the better. Right? How many of you would say, Lord, if I'm off, show me.
