Summary

What If The Point Of Life Is Simply To Become More Loving? In this conversation, I’m joined by physicist and consciousness researcher Tom Campbell, author of My Big TOE (Theory Of Everything). We explore a simple but profound idea: that life is less about extraordinary experiences and more about the everyday choice between fear and love. Tom shares his view that consciousness evolves through how we live β€” through honesty, responsibility, and the way we treat ourselves and others β€” especially at a time when humanity feels increasingly divided.

You don't have to learn anything new to become a person of love.

0:05.9

What you have to do is get rid of all the dysfunctional baggage that you're carrying around.

0:11.2

And as you get rid of that fear, what's left is love.

0:16.3

Fifty years ago or a hundred years ago, becoming love was a really good thing to do.

0:22.1

But now it's a critical thing to do.

0:24.9

It's a critical time where in the next couple of decades, we will decide whether humanity

0:32.0

slides backwards or whether we can move forwards and step into a very beautiful, loving, caring, sustainable world,

0:41.0

or whether we slip backwards into our own fear.

0:44.4

Hello, friends. This conversation is with Tom Campbell.

0:48.2

Tom is a nuclear physicist and the author of My Big Toe, which stands for My Big Theory of Everything.

0:57.0

In simple terms, Tom's core view is that reality is fundamentally made of consciousness,

1:03.3

not matter, and that life is a kind of learning environment where what really matters is how

1:08.9

we relate, how we respond, and whether we move

1:12.4

towards love or towards fear.

1:16.0

He often talks about this in terms of entropy.

1:19.1

Low entropy in his language simply means more clarity, more connection, more love.

1:26.1

High entropy, on the other hand, is contraction, fear and ego.

1:31.5

Since a recent shift in my own experience, what I really appreciate about Tom's work is that

1:37.7

he keeps bringing what can be a very lofty conversation back to simplicity of how we actually live in terms of behaviour,

1:46.9

responsibility, emotional honesty and moving towards loving behaviour.

1:52.2

It's really simple, but it can sound complex.

1:55.7

You don't need to really know Tom's work going into this conversation.
