Retired KCPD Intelligence Unit Detective Gary Jenkins interviewed ATF agent Lou Valoze about his efforts to infiltrate an Outfit crew under Mike Sarno, aka “The Large Guy.” Lou tells how he used his MMA abilities and his motorcycle gang undercover persona to befriend a close associate of Mike Sarno named Mark Polchan. Mike The Large Guy Sarno used the Outlaw motorcycle gang member Polchan to help do burglary and robbery scores and intimidate business rivals with bombings. Mike Sarno had been promoted above his pay grade after Frank Calabrese Jr. had been jailed and convicted in the Family Secrets trial. Mike Sarno was working with people like Mark Polchan, who took in at face value a stranger like this ATF agent, Lou Valoze. Now, there was a guy named Mark Paltran who had a, was a like a diamond store, a jewelry store, a variety of other things,
0:57.4	electronics, kind of like a pawn shop, I guess, in Cicero in Chicago.
1:01.8	And he worked under Mike Sarno, known also known as Big Mike, who was a violent, vicious Chicago
1:08.6	outfit boss of the new era after everybody had gone to jail.
1:13.3	Mark Mike was he was kind of becoming the man.
1:17.0	He had a video poker business.
1:18.5	He had hired Mark Paltran to go set a bomb under an associate.
1:26.8	And the guy set the bomb off and FBI was already
1:30.0	working on this whole crew because they were involved in stealing you know like truckloads of
1:35.3	of TVs and electronics and that was part of what Lou got into but Lou was supposed to help solve this bombing because he's
1:46.9	ATF, but that's just like a cover that they use when they want a good undercover.
1:51.5	And Mark Polchan was a member of the Chicago outlaws motorcycle gang.
