If you're listening to Junk Food Cinema, who were these guys? Yeah. Ladies and gentlemen of the Clash of 99.

We don't need no education.

That's right, class of 99.

I'm telling you, I got 99 problems, but a glitch appears to be one to 20 of them.

It boggles my mind that we've been doing this podcast now for going into our

ninth year. And this keeps happening. I have managed to recover another episode from what

appeared to be utter oblivion. So here's what happened. About two years ago was recording a series

of patron episodes. And I recorded one with my good

friend Martin Thomas. Now, when I listened back to it, his audio was completely fine. My audio,

on the other hand, was, as Aristotle once so eloquently put it, completely borked. That

being said, at some point, I do intend to go back and re-record all of my audio for that episode

because I think it was great.

But what happened was, I was already in the mindset that shit had gone wrong, that when I listened back to the second episode that I had recorded that week and the first few minutes of my audio sounded exactly the same, I gave up on both wholesale.

Come to find out, it was only the first minute or so of my audio in this

particular episode that had any kind of issue whatsoever. And cutting it out caused no problem to

continuity. And now it sounds fine. Literally an episode that's been sitting on the shelf for two years,

not even the shelf. The shelf is a place of honor. The shelf is a place where

you put things that you collect, things that you have reverence for. This was sitting in a trash

can for two years that I just hadn't taken out to the curb. And I'm so glad that I hadn't.
