Welcome to the Boneyard with Steve Robertson. As always, I am your good friend and host, Steve Robertson, here on the Humday edition of the yard.

Hope things are well with you wherever you are today. I'll be leaving soon, headed at a Jackson, I'll be missing to a marketplace tonight, all day Thursday, all day Friday.

But I am bringing my stuff with me, and I'll record you a show with your late

Thursday night or early Friday morning. I had considered getting an earlier start today, but

you know, sometimes you just need a minute. You just need to take a minute, get all your stuff

together, especially when I'm going to be gone for a couple days. Got to make sure I get things

handled, you know, get the kid situated and make sure they got snacks in the house, that sort of stuff. And so make sure the dogs are fed. I felt don't need to rush myself. So here we are. And, listen, hoping that you guys are having a great week, it is an absolutely beautiful day in Starkville, Mississippi. It is a chamber of commerce quality day. Not too hot,

not too cool, not too windy. It is a beautiful, beautiful, sunshiny day to coin a phrase. I don't

know, there's a cloud in the sky. You know, we'll kind of see how things develop over the course

of the week, but I know many of you are glued into election results. We're not going to talk about it, that stuff today, because this is not what we're here for. We're here to talk about Mississippi State Sports. But be that as it may, I think it's simple as, you know, listen, whatever happens is it going to happen. We're going to deal with it one way or another.

No matter who you voted for, no matter what you're for, what you're against, what you love, what you hate, we're all going to be the same people. And my attitude about all that has always been this, is that I got to get up and go to work every day, no matter who was in the Oval Office, no matter what measures are passed at the ballot box,

I've got a responsibility and nobody's going to make a living for me.

So I've got to get up and go get it done.

So here we are.

I hope that you guys are similarly situated.

I read some things yesterday that I guess John Pitts from the Tuplo Daily Journal, Sports editor there tweeted out that some surveyed said that election day would be the single most

stressful day of over half of Americans' lives. Listen, if that's true, and I tweeted this out as well,

we have lived incredibly different lives, incredibly different lives. Maybe I just

handle stress better than most, but, you know, I sat there and had my hand on my dad's arm as he

passed away. That was a pretty stressful day. You know, we lost a couple of kids to miscarriage.
