I'm actually recording in my hometown of Kent, Mississippi. I was born here. I got sisters here. Staying with one of them. And so if things are a little bit funky it's because the the studio

is different i'm recording somewhere different matter of fact let me let me turn this fan off so we

don't have quite the background noise but i promised you guys a show so here's your show so

and i think that cleared up some of our racket there so uh, listen, hope you guys are doing well. It is Friday. It is Maroon Friday. I will be wearing maroon today. I haven't gone to bed yet, but when I get up and get moving, I'll be wearing maroon. I hope what you will be too. And how wonderful is it that we live in a country that we can celebrate Maroon Friday as we choose?

I think it's important that we celebrate Maroon Friday, whether the university makes a big deal out of it or not,

whether we're tweeting out there and using hashtags.

And we've done that in a past.

But I still think it's important for us to stand up and be counted as Mississippi State people.

And one of the things I want to mention about that, for those of you that are unaware,

I am at Missile Tothop Marketplace at the Trademark in Jackson, Mississippi this week.

I've been there for two days.

I'll be there all day on Friday.

Be there from around 830 to 930

all day Friday. Had a 13 hour day on Thursday. Sown a ton of books. But there's not a lot of people

out there wearing Mississippi State in Ole Miss stuff. You know, last year, I guess the animal print

thing was kind of big for, you know, the metro area ladies.

And so last year it was like a herd of gazelles kind of intersecting with the group of tigers.

But there's not as much of that anymore.

And, but, you know, but there's not hardly any state of Ole Miss stuff.

And I get the fact that, you know, maybe the season hadn't gone the way that we expected,

but I am still proud to be a Mississippi State Bulldog, even in times of trepidation.

And matter of fact, I had several people come up to me today and say, you know, Steve, you know, I'm patient,
