but I want to concentrate on Sir Kirste Starrmer's Labor Party

that you write about in your most recent column.

A promising labor party.

The challenge for Sir Kirstehr Starrmer,

as it is for other members of Europe,

is to find the money to build up a defense industry that is credible faced with hostile threats such as Moscow or Beijing or

Tehran or whatever. And that money has been devoted to an impressive welfare state for decades.

Now, where are you going to find the money given that Germany's been in recession for the voted to an impressive welfare state for decades.

Now where are you going to find the money given that Germany's been in recession for two years

and Britain's not much out of recession.

It's just bumping along the bottom.

And Sir Kirstarmer has done a bold thing and taken on the welfare state, asking for money to be moved from one column to another.
