I think it's getting worse. The story we're talking about is the actor Andrew

Scott who's been in various things in film and TV and is also a well-known

West End stage actor here in London apparently was recounting a story from a production of Hamlet.

where a theater goer at one point pulled out a laptop and was going to do, you know, check emails in the middle of a

Shakespearean soliloquy. So, you know, that is particularly obnoxious, but I think what my experience is a frequent theater goer especially since the pandemic has been that I think that people kind of forgot how to behave in that sort of setting so you constantly have issues with people chatting with each other or
