And the big elections this year, and the elections that are certainly

to change direction for Europe are right in front of us. We begin with March in the Russian

Federation.

Vladimir Putin is running unopposed, no surprise, but in any event it will be a way for the Russian

people to endorse the policy in Ukraine. Watching that election very closely will be

the European Union which votes in June of this year.

And then the two big elections for my understanding of the English language,

that would be the UK sometime in the fall, perhaps, and the US sometime in the fall perhaps and the US sometime in the fall definitely.

Joe a very good evening to you thank you for this I mentioned Vladimir Putin

only because there is reason to believe that Russia is satisfied with its

version of democracy and his approval rating suggests that he is enjoying the

attention of the Russian people. At the same time there are

elections scheduled for Ukraine and I mention them only because they're uncertain.

The European Union is watching both of those events, the Russian election in March, and the possibility of Ukraine either voting or not voting.
