dear friend Germanicus, Magovlayos, reflecting upon events in the 21st century.

Germanicus is reflected upon the D-Day.

We now go to those same countries represented in D-Day, a slightly scrambled mix. This is the vote

from the European Union's 27 member states. I'm reading from CNN.

French President Amanda McCrone dissolves his

country's parliament, calls a snap election after an EU exit poll showed a

historic surge for the French far right. Far right is what you say about any conservative

government or party in Europe. We would call them moderate Republicans, but in Europe, post-D-Day Europe, far-right is the automatic term.

There is no right. There's only far-right. And it's okay. Everybody's okay with that. It's just

it translates funny when we hear it. Exupils have showed gains for far right

parties in Germany, that's alternative for

Deutschland and Austria, as three days of voting wrapped Sunday. The

mainstream center right, they say center right, what they mean is Christian governments, Christian

Democratic unions, Christian socialists, there are many versions. The Europeans

are okay with using the word Christian in the title of a party.

That is strange to American ears, but that's how they present themselves.

It's predicted to remain the largest political grouping in Brussels.

Its leader has promised to guard against extremes from left and right.

The vote, one of the world's largest democratic exercises, comes at a pivotal moment for the EU,

which is grappling with issues such as Ukraine and Gaza.

Germanicus, the far-right are not grappling with UK.
