Tremannicus, Michael Lehaus, and I am Gaius and we're here in Londinium.

We're headed to the theater.

And Germanicus puts up with me I misbehave when I hear the Greeks are in town

preaching preaching preaching about the heroic cage but especially about Achilles. the Greeks believe that

believed that battles were determined by a spat between the gods.

Everybody either tricking Zeus or allowing Hera to gain her advantage

over Zeus. It was like a bad marriage that you can't leave.

And Iliad turns on a number of those events in the battle on the Hellspond before Troy.

However, the payoff of the story is Achilles, who for reasons that do not

make much sense refuses to fight because he's been insulted by Agamemnon. He eventually decides to send off

his pal, Patroclus, in Achilles armor, to fight at the front line to defend the hollow ships, the

black ships, the curved ships, to defend the fleet under attack by Troy.

And Patroclus, who is not the fighter that Achilles is then defeated by Hector, the son of

Prayam, the air apparent to Troy. Hector is the great warrior.

And they fight over the body,

they fight over the armor that Hector takes and puts on,

and then Achilles finally rouses himself from his rage so-called. He's really in a pout about his sense of honor.

Agamemnon took something from him, a slave woman, and didn't apologize.

That seems to be of Agamemnon's sin.

An Achilles then finally rouses himself and says,

you make me, he says to his mother, I need armor,
