You are locked on Warriors daily Golden State Warriors podcast. I'm Daniel were your host and so happy

0:04.7

to bring you your team every day. The Warriors got a nice 113-103 win over the Charlotte Hornets,

0:12.2

the last game of the road trip. So when all was said and done, they ended up with one loss out of

0:16.8

the four games, which is totally fine. I talked before the road trip about how I thought

0:21.7

three and one or four and a really nice success. They ended up getting three and one after the

0:26.7

loss of the Miami Heat. And the defining stretch of this game was in the fourth quarter during that

0:32.9

closing kick, which has been an issue for the Warriors before the last couple of games, even though they

0:38.5

did lose against Miami, they did a nice job in crunch time because they were just behind by so

0:42.1

much. And the Warriors went to Dremont at Center with five minutes and 52 seconds left. And in that

0:48.9

last stretch after Kevin Durant hit free throws before they went to Dramond at Center, the Warriors

0:53.3

outscored the Hornets 20 to 9. They were 7 of 11 from the field, 4 of 4 from the line, did not turn the ball over,

1:01.4

and went on a big run. And the big point to me there was beyond not getting in their own way,

1:07.8

was that the Draymond at Center lineups creates so many problems for

1:11.8

opponents because there is not an effective counter. At the beginning of the run, the Hornets tried to

1:19.6

use Spencer Hawes at Center because they didn't have Cody Zeller. Zellers probably would be in their

1:24.1

best five against the Draymond at center lineup, but Cody Zeller did

1:28.4

not play in this game.

1:29.6

They tried him.

1:30.6

That didn't work.

1:31.6

Then they tried out Marco Bellanelli.

1:33.5

That didn't work either, also because Marco Bellanelli can't really defend, and there

1:36.9

isn't a place to hide him in that lineup.
