Pretty much no matter what happened in the game, but the Warriors absolutely demolishing the

Clippers 144 to 98 certainly made it more necessary than it could have been in a few other

circumstances, especially considering the Clippers didn't really look like themselves.

And they were only missing Chris Paul in terms of personnel, but Blake Griffin was not all the way back.

He's still working his way from a knee injury.

And the Warriors in the first half just pretty much outplayed them, you know, more of a generic good game against an inferior

opponent. And then the third quarter happened. And the third quarter was completely ridiculous.

Stefan Curry scored 25 points, two more than the Clippers had as a team, as the Warriors

outscored them 45, 23 collectively, and just took the game into overdrive.

And I wrote about this a little bit in my piece for the athletic, which is already up.

But the numbers are impressive and I do not want to do anything to discount them.

But it was more impressive to see it happen because it looked more like MVP, Steph Curry, if we want to go 2014-15 or 15-16.
