Today's 10-minute walk is helping you stay fitness consistent, so let's go for a walk.

I am in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

Ava, my wife, and I have lived here since October 2020.

I remained in Maryland for a couple of months, moved down at the end of December 2020. And so that's how long I've lived here. Before that, lived in Maryland. The difference between the two locations pretty dramatic. I mean, there are some similarities, of course, but more differences than similarities. The winters aren't as harsh. The summers, they can be a little more

intense, although we had heat and humidity in Maryland. So I'm not entirely sure that the intensity

here in South Carolina in Myrtle Beach is more so.

One of the things that we have is the ocean breathes because we live just two miles from the ocean.

So even on hot days we've got most days, we've got a breeze coming off the ocean which cools things down. What big advantage we have

is that the weather stays warmer longer and gets warmer earlier in the year, which was very appealing.

We live in a very flat area.

There are very few hills. I have a bike. I ride a bike most days.

And it's not a multi-speed bike, it's one speed, because that's all I need.

In Maryland, it was really hilly. Lots of hills.

In Maryland, there were lots of tall trees that provided shade, which was really nice.

In the summer, when it was hot, we would walk through the neighborhood.
