and what we're going to get into today is Liz Cheney, the defeated candidate for the House in

Wyoming, the defeated incumbent candidate for the House in Wyoming, and you know she lost. Do you

know all about the election? But there was something in her concession speech that was notable

and that was its references to the Civil War and what that might mean. You know there

been hundreds of headlines in recent months suggesting that radical supporters,

former President Trump, hope to start a new Civil War in the United States. Now that kind of talk

is dangerous, irresponsible, ugly kind of talk and it reached a new peak after the

unprecedented FBI raid on Trump's winter home at Mar-a-Lago, followed by revelations that the Biden

Justice Department is pursuing an unprecedented criminal case against the former President,

apparently over the alleged mishandling of classified information. So we got a lot of talk

about the Civil War, a new Civil War. There'll be another Civil War in the United States.

And now a new voice is talking about Civil War. We should say capital C, capital W war.

In her concession speech, Liz Cheney, who soundly defeated in the Republican primary in Wyoming,

invoked Civil War imagery to describe her determination to these are her words,

do whatever it takes to ensure that Donald Trump is never again anywhere near the Oval Office.
