anti-Trump frenzy. It's happening again. You know that. You see it all around you.

Let's go back a little bit. Beginning in the months before Donald Trump took office as

world took a set of vague, vague but serious accusations of wrongdoing involving the 2016 Trump

campaign and Russia. These allegations of wrongdoing saying the 2016 Trump campaign in Russia had

conspired. The media and the political world took these allegations and created a 24-7 frenzy of

talk about secret evidence, about potential criminal charges, about allegedly grave damage

to national security. This was fed by leaks that were originating in federal law enforcement

and the intelligence community and interested lawyers who were interested in things.

And fed by all this, ostensibly responsible people engaged in wild speculation about collusion.

Nobody knew what the evidence was. It was secret, classified, grand jury, ongoing investigation,

whatever. It was secret. All the talk, incredibly damaging, all the talk was based on little bits
