who is in heaven, hallowed be his name. I'm so thankful that he is the God who gives us today

our daily bread. He is your provider. He knows what you need. Consider the lilies that grow in the field. Consider the birds today that fly in the air. They don't worry about where their next meal is going to come from or how they're going to grow. And yet your heavenly father cares for them? And aren't you so much more valuable than they? Your father knows what you need. So seek first his kingdom today.

Aren't you so thankful that our God is the one who forgives us of our sins and by the power of

Guys, I am stoked because today we are in one of my favorite Psalms, Psalm 91.

I have known of this Psalm, and this Psalm has ministered to me in so many different seasons of my life.

But I recently have been sitting in it and I realized something that I never realized before,

that whenever you look at the chronological context of Psalm 91, you'll actually find it

when it was written during the time of Deuteronomy,

whenever the Israelites are getting ready to enter the promise lane at the end of Moses's life.

And that's just so sweet to reflect on that the Israelites have just walked through such a time of walking through the wilderness,

experiencing God's provision and

protection and his salvation. And it's just really cool how the Lord continues to show us his

heart, even whenever we come across something so familiar. He continues to give us refreshment

and teach us and take us deeper into who he is and into the truth that

sets us free. And that's what's happened for me recently as I've been reading Psalm 91 is

not only knowing even more about the historical context, but also just as I've sat in the word,

His spirit has illuminated so much to encourage me in this season that I'm in.
