My name is Emma May, and I am so grateful that I get to welcome you to the compelled podcast.

I'm so grateful for your life.

I'm so grateful that I get to be a part of your life in this sweet way through a podcast.

And I am really excited about our time together today because I truly believe that there's

a timelessness to every message that I share and I say that because we go to the Word of God,

and the Word of God is living and active. It thoroughly equips us for every good work

throughout our entire life, and yet it was written thousands of years ago. It's just amazing.

But what I mean here is what we're talking about today is how do I share the gospel even when I'm not excited about it?

How do I like be bold in sharing my faith even when I may not be feeling it today?

And I say that this is timeless because like it's just reality

and being a human being that there may be days, maybe you woke up today and you are feeling like

on fire. You are so excited for whoever it is that your path is going to cross with how your path is going to cross with

someone else. And you're so excited for the conversations today may hold. You're so excited for how you

can encourage people. Your head is on a swivel as my dad would always encourage me to do.

You're looking for opportunities to make the most of, to make known the mystery of the gospel

today, to love people,

build relationships with them, ask them questions, sit and listen. And that's amazing. But it's a

reality that maybe lunchtime will hit, or it's a reality that some of you also woke up today.

And it's like, yeah, I'm just not feeling it.

Like, I am really in this mode where I just want to get in and get out and I feel inconvenienced
