Hello my friend, how are you? We are pretty much delivering this episode a day or two after I recorded. Why is that? It's because my husband and I just returned from a three week break in France, which was very pleasant. You can imagine what it's like coming straight back into work,

straight back into all the things going on. In fact, I really enjoy it. I love to have a rest and I love to be busy. I feel as if there is beauty in both things and one isn't necessarily better than the other.

steady. I never used to appreciate this when I was younger. I was constantly chasing highs

2:06.5

looking for excitement looking to hang out with new people absolutely going out

2:10.3

drinking alcohol and there's something wrong with any of these things, right, depends on your lifestyle and your choices.

2:16.0

But I know that there is almost like a fatigue and a never ending thirst when we're chasing highs. I agree with Christine because sometimes we confuse a

2:29.8

high with happiness. They are not the same thing. Happiness is absolutely a steady living in the middle. The day-to-day, the humdrum of life, not dealing with a crisis,

2:49.4

waking up, going through your routines, spending time with people that you love.

2:55.0

Highs are very alluring, aren't they? They're enticing, they can be addictive.

3:01.0

That's why we talk about sugar highs, right? Or highs when it comes to drugs,

3:04.7

illegal drugs, recreational drugs.

3:08.9

It's a very special time in your life, I think, when you realize that highs aren't happiness and I can tell you even with a three week break
