Summary
This episode of Midweek Rise Up is my message from the Good Things conference at Calvary Chapel San Juan Capistrano with Michelle Randall. Get ready to dive deep into the topic of how to be a godly woman in a godless society.
What does it look like to be a woman of the WORD and not of the WORLD?
What does it mean to live a life of purity?
What does it take to be kind and self-controlled?
What does it mean to date and marry wisely?
Remember, it’s very hard to influence the world when you look just like it.
Go rise up. || xx E

| 0:00.0 | Welcome back everyone to a new episode of Midweek Rise Up. It's E, and I wanted to share with you an awesome moment. |
| 0:08.2 | I recently had at Calvary Chapel San Juan Capistrano with my dear friend Michelle Randall. I had the honor of |
| 0:14.7 | speaking at her women's conference called The Good Things based off of Titus chapter 2 verse 3. In this message, I'll be honest, I really |
| 0:22.4 | didn't hold back as per usual. And I talked about how to be a godly woman in a godless society. |
| 0:28.7 | So if you need some encouragement today, you're at the right place. It's time to be the woman |
| 0:33.0 | God has called you to be, a woman of the word and not of the world. |
| 0:38.2 | I hope you guys enjoy it. |
| 0:39.4 | It's a message that God really placed on my heart to share, and I pray that it resonates |
| 0:43.3 | with you during the season of life that you're in. |
| 0:45.7 | God bless you guys and go rise up. |
| 0:59.0 | I love you guys. Thank you so much for just being in my life. Ironically enough, when I was preparing for this message, I was in Las Vegas for 10 days too long. |
| 1:06.0 | And I thought to myself how ironic that I'm here, while you'll see why in a minute when we read through these verses, and I just had the time to be a little bit more observant than I usually was in Las Vegas, looking at the way women were dressing, looking at the way women were portrayed on the billboards, |
| 1:28.3 | looking at the swimsuits or lack thereof at the pools, just completely kind of just put into |
| 1:35.7 | a position of wow, the juxtaposition of the world and the world is so, whoops, that's my, my mom, and I stick them in my Bible. |
| 1:48.8 | Just the juxtaposition of the word and the world was just unbelievably noticeable. |
| 1:54.8 | And so when I first had that call with Michelle and I was in Las Vegas, she's like, how you doing? |
| 1:59.7 | I'm like, I'm not leaving my hotel room. |
| 2:03.8 | We were talking about these verses and I just was so moved and convicted by these verses. I just |
| 2:13.2 | was, I kind of just sat there and I thought to myself, we need to be a little bit more |
| 2:20.0 | aggressive with these two verses that we're about to read. Not just, oh, these are great. Let's |
| 2:26.2 | put them in our little journal. No, like, marinate in them. Like have your heart stirred |
| 2:32.9 | and saturated by them, like so convicted by them. |
