Where we left you last week, it was November 1968,

and the Beatles' plans to play a residency at the Roundhouse in Chalk Farm in London

had hit, what you might say, it was a brick wall, wouldn't you say?

And this is reported, as we said at the end of last week, in the November 30th, 1968 edition of the new Musical Express.

But there are still, you know, notions that this thing is going to happen in January. And what is interesting is that this is where the get-back date kind of appears for the first time, because

it's reported on December the 7th, 1968, that the live show is formally postponed until January

the 18th, 1969, with a rehearsal and run through possibly on January the 16th and the 17th.

Because again, we have Derek Taylor, who is contradicting Paul, who if you remember had said,

oh, we might go to Liverpool. So Derek is very clear, not happening in Liverpool,

and I love the reason why he says it's not happening.

He said, it does not look as though it will be the Roundhouse, and reports that it will take place in Liverpool are also unlikely.

The show will probably be in London because it's being taped in colour for TV and all the colour equipment is in London.

No colour in Liverpool.

Yeah, I mean, that's pretty logical, you know.

No colour in any of the places they were planning to shoot in 1969.
