It was a delight for me to share the stage for the evening with food deluminaries Ruth Ryshel, Marcus Samuelson, and Padmela Xmi.

Ruth is a legendary food writer and restaurant critic. She served as editor-in-chief of Gourmet magazine and as the chief restaurant critic for the New York Times, among many other accolades.

Marcus is the chef behind restaurants like Red Rooster Harlem and the newly opened Havan Mar. He's also written books, won awards, and made many, many television appearances.

Hi, my name is Anna and I'm calling from Bozeman Montana and during COVID, we gave up on making the kids eat more variety.

And we're now in a cycle of five things that they will eat. And my husband and I cook two separate meals every single night.

And the kids are now seven and nine and just refusing to try most things that eat almost any vegetable that we put in front of them.

But if we put even the slightest amount of barbecue sauce on chicken, they are highly averse.

So we're trying to find things that stretch their taste buds that can be in regular rotation for a weeknight kid friendly dinner, but open my kids horizon a little bit.
