Listen, we've got to talk about it, and, you know, it was Luke that said, why haven't we tried to get, like, Robbo or Jay McKenna or someone like that yesterday to us? So thanks for coming in on short notice, first and foremost. I just wanted to talk to you and get an overview around the ticket prices and why it's so important for Liverpool fans moving forward. So for anyone who's living under a rock,

maybe, Garrett, you could just sort of explain a little about what's happened so far

and where we're up to in the story.

Yeah, so every year, really, this time of year and a little bit before,

there are talks over what the prices for the following season will be.

So those talks...

The following season?

Yeah.

Just the following season?

Well, normally.

And that's exactly the point, mate.

So, you know, normally it would be just the following season.

One of the reasons everything's ramped up in the way it is is Liverpool have announced a multi-year deal, three-year deal, or three-year

hike more precisely.

So initially 3%, that's tracked to CPI inflation or whatever, and then what they're saying

is it will follow inflation next year as well, and then the year after that, so three years.

Now, they're the first Premier League club to do that because, you know, what I said there about every year we talk to them, what we do. And every year, you know, we come around the table and, you know, they will say that they want to put them up. We will say that at the very least they should freeze them. And then we have a bit of backwards and forwards,

and we try and reach something that sort of palatable for everyone, really, sort of thing.

It did feel this year that they were coming in,

and no matter what we said or did, they were putting them up.
