Obviously, it became apparent last night that this will be the end of the road for him

in this time at the loop of football club, which is a huge shame, in my opinion.

There's been lots of tributes made since.

Absolutely phenomenal footballer, phenomenal servants, brilliant nine years. Sam, I'll come to you first on it, mate. We kind of expected this. It was not a huge shock, I don't think the news. But still, when it's confirmed and when it is sort of rubber stammered, then you see him sat down, talking about it's time of Liverpool, how he pulled his heart and soul into it you can't help but feel like ah this is a proper end of an

era on this isn't it absolutely if you look back to was it the 2019 squad now there's only

gomez van dyke alison possibly harvey elliott and cursus jones if they were around then

knocking around so it does almost feel like

the end of the era where given how many signings we made last summer the midfield rebuild of

2023 which was Klopp but it kind of feels like slots players now and then obviously

it's saying it's next summer it'll be a completely new team. And I'm sure we'll come onto it about how

we probably shouldn't have sold so many of the senior players,

not necessarily because of their performances,

but because of the culture.

It feels like we've kind of gone into a new era.

Whether that's for the better or not another question.
