The Bert Show. If you are planning to take a plane to visit somebody here over the next couple of weeks, next couple of months, what have you, you must listen to what I am about to tell you. I'm going to save you a ton of time when you get to the airport, because if you get there, maybe with your current ID, you're going to be turned away. You're not going to be able to get through security.

I am asking Kristen, Cassie, Mo, and Abby to take out your driver's licenses.

No, I mean, did you drive here today? Oh, it's in my car. Oh, okay. Do you want me to go down to my car right now? Yeah, just keep driving home.

I know what you're going to ask and I have the answer to it. Okay. You have your idea?

Yes, sir. In the top right corner, is there a star. See? Yes for Cassie. Good for you. Yes. There is for you too. Mo, I'm guessing there is for you too because you have a passport. There's not. I don't have one. Oh, no. Not yet. I got a passport, but I don't have a real idea yet. So if you have a passport, you're good to go. So let me tell the rest of you guys. If you are planning on taking a plane, if you don't have that star in the top right part of your driver's license, TSA is telling you to get to the airport three

hours early. And even if you get there three hours early, you still might not be able to get

through security. You need what they're calling a real ID. What were the ones before? Fake?

That's what I don't understand. How is the government going to look at the ID? They gave me and say, fake. You gave it to me. I think there's just some more research now and some

stuff. I quite honestly don't understand why it's different now than it was before. I think that they

are being particular, very particular with IDs now. No more fake IDs to get in or get out of the country.

So you've got to have this real ID with you, right?

So if you're looking at your driver's license right now and you are freaking out,

oh my God, I don't have the star!

What you're going to have to do is you have to go to whatever you want to call it in your own state, the DMV, whatever it is. And you got to bring down there a whole bunch of info, personal info, and documents to show

them so they can issue you a new ID.
