and I'm joined by Jeff and Greg. It's been a little bit since the three of us have been together on a podcast. A lot of us have been out of the office for various reasons. So anyway, today's

episode, we're going to answer a question that we get all the time, which is,

which bike should I buy?

We get this on the forums, we get it in person, we get it on Facebook, we get it in comments,

on articles.

So I thought it maybe it'd be fun to imagine that we had a little bit of money in our pocket

and we were going to go buy a new bike.

So have some guidelines in place for this.

We try to keep a reasonable price.

I know some of you will scoff at the saying $4,000 max price is reasonable.

That's pretty crazy, that that's kind of like a mid-range bike these days.

But that's the world we live in.

So we're going to go through a few different

categories. We're going to do a hardtail XC, so that's a purpose-built, you know, cross-country

race bike, can do a trail 27-5, a trail 29, all mountain slash enduro, a downhill bike,

...
