Hello, my friends, and welcome back to The Morning Mindset.

I hope you're ready to get your mind aligned with the Truth of God.

It is Christmas Eve, Merry Christmas, and thankful to you with me today.

I know a lot of people during the holiday season take time off from all their routine things,

including things like The Morning Mindset, which I understand.

But I also think could be a mistake because we need to always have our mind aligned with

the Truth of God's Word.

And so I'm glad you're here.

Today, we're talking about the theme of the light has dawned.

We're going to look at Matthew chapter 4, verses 15 through 16.

Now, what Matthew is doing here is he is quoting a prophecy from the book of Isaiah.

That is a prophecy about the Messiah and what is happening behind the scenes when the

Messiah shows up.

And here's how it reads, it says, the land of Zebulan and the land of Naftali, the way

of the sea beyond the Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles.

The people dwelling in darkness have seen a great light, and for those dwelling in the

region and shadow of death on them a light has dawned.

Now Matthew uses a lot of words in there, names of places that are very foreign to most

of us.

Naftali and Zebulan were two of the sons of a man named Jacob who we know as Israel.

He was the man who was the head of the tribes of Israel and Zebulan and Naftali were two

of his sons who were the leaders of two of the twelve tribes.
