Good morning, good afternoon, good evening, my friends. This is Carrie. It is time for our pray together episode. And Merry Christmas to you. It is Christmas Eve, 2021. Can you believe 2021 has vanished as quickly as it has? It just seems to me like this year was a rapid, rapid sort of a passing of time. I don't know if that's because I'm

getting older or whatever, but I just love that we can depend on our Lord every day of every year

and that this year is no different. As we look into 2022, we have a handful of prayer requests

here of people that have submitted them. If you would like to submit a request for next week's episode, we will be recording on January 31st.

Today we are going to together seek the Lord as he has commanded us to seek him.

He says, ask and you shall receive, seek, and you shall find, knock, and the door will be open to you.

You see, there is an action of worship that we do when we pray. We are coming into God's presence, believing him to be mighty and to be good and to be capable

of handling the situations that we're facing.

And in doing so, we're worshiping.

We're acknowledging his greatness.

And friends, our prayers are less about us getting things done for us and getting situations handled and more about us

expressing our trust in our father because he is trustworthy amen so as we bring these requests to him

remember that no matter how huge the request sounds or no matter how difficult the circumstance, we have a God

who is capable and who answers prayer.
