Hello my friends, welcome back to the morning mindset.

I hope you're ready to get your mind aligned with the truth of God, and I hope that this

Advent season has you in a place of expectancy and a place of anticipation regarding the Christmas

holiday.

It's not necessarily that on Christmas Day we expect anything grand to happen, but we

expect that our celebration is going to give us a new appreciation of what Jesus has

done and is going to perhaps even open the door to him doing some new things in our lives.

That's what the Advent celebration is really all about.

Today we're going to be looking at Luke chapter 2, verses 8 through 10, and talking about

this encounter that the shepherds had with the angels and what they discovered as a result.

Alright, let's look at Luke chapter 2, verses 8 through 10.

This is part of what happened in the days leading up to Jesus' birth.

It says, in the same region there were shepherds out in the field keeping watch over their

flocks by night.

So stop for a moment, put yourself in the shepherds' sandals, so to speak.
