Welcome to Horror Movie Club, the show where two dudes who are not quite nerds but not quite nobs, choose a horror movie each week to rate and review.

I'm Brian. I'm on the phone with Ashton, and today we are discussing Life Force from 1985, directed by Toby Hooper, written by Dan O'Bannon and Don Jacoby, based on Colin Wilson's

1976 novel, The Space Vampires, starring Steve Railsback, Matilda May, Peter Firth, Frank Finlay,

and Patrick Stewart.

In this film, a crew of astronauts discovers an alien ship with three aliens on board in a state of

suspended animation. Disaster ensues when the three alien humanoids are brought back to Earth.

If you're new to the show, we're going to talk about this. Spoiler free for the first 15 or 20

minutes, just fleshing out some of the background info around this movie. But after that, we're going to play with some transition music and start walking through the

plot and spoiling everything.

And then we'll review the film.
