Ezekiel chapter 37, verse 10.

So I prophesied as He commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived and stood in their feet, an exceedingly great army.

Oh, I love this verse, this chapter, it all starts,

if you're familiar with it. Ezekiel 37 starts with this picture of Ezekiel brought by the Spirit of the Lord into this valley that's full of bones, dry bones. And God says to Ezekiel, son of man, can these bones live?

And then God says to Ezekiel, prophesy over these bones. Speak my word over these bones.

So Ezekiel does this. He prophesies as he was commanded and as he does, as he speaks,

there's this rattling and the bones start coming together and sinews on them and flesh and skin.

They basically come to life. That's what he's describing here in verse 10. I prophesied as he

commanded me and the breath came into them.

And they lived and stood on their feet, an exceedingly great army.

But the picture is so clear and beautiful and awesome and life-changing for you and me today.

Because God's word spoken by God's people and the power of God's spirit has power to bring people to life forever. Can I say that

one more time and just soak in how amazing this is, how, as I mentioned,
