Ezekiel chapter 36, verses 22 and 23.

Therefore say to the House of Israel, thus says the Lord God.

It is not for your sake, O House of Israel, that I am about to act,

but for the sake of my holy name,

which you have profaned among the nations to which you came.

And I will vindicate the holiness of my great name, which has been profaned among the nations,

and which you have profaned among them.

And the nations will know that I am the Lord, declares the Lord God,

when through you I vindicate my holiness before their eyes.

This is one of those places in the Bible where God makes crystal clear.

And I say this, I believe God makes this crystal clear

in every verse in the Bible.

But for our minds that are so prone

to center around ourselves, God literally says to his people,

when I act among you, when I work among you, it is not for your

sake, ultimately that I'm doing these things. In other words, you are not at the center of the

universe. I'm not at the center of the universe. God is. And everything God

does ultimately is for the sake of His holy name among all the nations. That's the glaring

truth of Ezekiel 3622 and 23, and it's all over the Bible.

It's from cover to cover. Just think about it. The end of the Bible culminates in what happening

in God being glorified, his name being exalted by people from every tribe, people, language, and nation.
