They came in groups proclaiming the shahada, one after another.

The city that once sheltered a small group of believers now welcomed nations.

Bismillah, Rahman and Rahim, my beloved brothers and sisters, after years of struggle, patience and steadfastness,

a new chapter began in the life of this Ummah. Tribes and leaders now journeyed to Medina, not for war, but for truth. This was Aam al-Wufud, the year of delegations. So come with me to the days when hearts began to return to the light.

The desert roads filled with riders from every direction. The call that once echoed alone from Macca now reached every corner of Arabia.

The year 9 after Hijra, known as Aam Al-Wufud, the year of delegations.

When the messenger of Allah, Peace Be upon him, returned from Tabuq and the idols

of Makkah had fallen, the tribes no longer waited, from Najd to Yemen. From Bahrain to the north,

they came in groups proclaiming the shahada, one after another. It was the fulfillment of the divine verse.

If a Nassulah and the Fethh, and you see the people

yadhulun in the Deen Allah, a fwageh,

and sabbih by Hamdi Rabikh and stufeidh.

When the help of Allah comes and the conquest, and you see the people entering the religion of Allah in crowds,

then glorify the praises of your Lord and seek his forgiveness.

Among the first to arrive were the eloquent men of Banu Tamim.

They rode into Medina with pride, shouting from behind the

apartments of the Prophet, Peace be upon Him. Oh Muhammad, come out to us. Their loud voices

disturbed the Prophet, Peace Be upon Him. And so was revealed the verse, those who call

you from behind the chambers, most of them do not reason.
