Greetings, K-Sunga here, and welcome back to Radio Headspace, another week in the books.

I dedicated this week to talking about positive mindful moments I have recently observed in

my own everyday life.

Moments we have felt completely present and not worried about the past or the future,

and that can be quite a challenge, which is what today's story is all about.

The moments I've mentioned this week have been from when my family and I visited Paris.

As you can imagine, this trip was full of many beautiful, happy, and glorious mindful moments,

and when it was time for it to come to an end, well, I just didn't want it to.

And maybe you can relate to this.

Vacations are great, but it's hard not to count down the days or obsess about making the

most of your limited time off work.

And that can keep you from actually enjoying your trip.

I wanted to hold on to that feeling that comes with that adventurous travel, with a plate

of delicious pasta that you've never tried before is placed in front of you, or that

feeling that comes when you are cranking your neck to take in a famous landmark, like

the Eiffel Tower.

But guess what?

Eventually, everything comes to an end.

So I remember distinctly feeling quite bitter, and actually a little irritable when it

was time to pack up and head back to the States. The night before we left, we stayed out super

late because we really didn't want it to end.
