The crime to which Brody pled guilty was handing out a million dollars in bribes

to New York state officials in exchange for 250 million in state pension fund business.

He avoided jailfind by paying $18 million in restitution.

Now, he's a defense contractor.

White collar felonies don't slow you down much in Republican politics these days.

Brody is right now National Deputy Finance Chairman of the Republican National Committee.

And he served as a Finance Committee official for both Trump's campaign and Trump's inauguration.
