But we do know that divorce happens, and we have seen couples who commit to Christ to

have God honoring thriving second marriages.

The ministry of Awesome Marriage is absolutely for couples who want to have God honoring thriving second marriages. The ministry of awesome marriage is absolutely

for couples who want to have an awesome marriage by submitting themselves to God. And this certainly

includes couples who are in their second marriage. So we are here for the marriage that you are in now

and to help you make it thrive and honor God. Many times second marriages can be really complicated and can come with

extra baggage, but there are practical things that you can do to help your second marriage thrive.

So today we're going to be talking specifically about letting go over the past and creating

your new life together. I'm so excited to be talking about this today, Dr. Kim. I am too because we know that with the divorce race it is and then people get remarried again.

And we also know that the divorce rate on second marriages is worse than it is in general on first marriages.

So I think it's a really important topic because I think depending on someone's life situation, most people get divorced. A lot of them

may not think they're going to get remarried at that time, but they end up getting in a relationship

and they have to face the deal. Are we going to get married again? So I think you've got to let go

of the past from the past marriage. And we talk about in first marriages, that marriages is only

going to be as healthy as the two people are.
