Well, howdy there internet people? It's Bell again. So today we're going to talk about Trump, the House, Ohio, and division.

Trump has been one of the most divisive presidents in American history.

His campaign style demands it in a way.

And while some of the division is normal, it is going to new heights

as Republicans in office are having to deal with the fallout of his antics.

Republicans in Ohio and the House are pointing fingers in trying to present some kind of normal image

while trying to keep up with the ever-changing talking points of the Trump campaign.

Going far beyond the normal Rhino accusations,

Trump, while not in office, after being rejected by voters, is still exerting

influence on the party in ways that are limiting their ability to move forward.

There are incidents further back, but the most recent two are the continuing resolution

flip-flop that the House tried to push through.

Trump threw his weight behind attaching the non-budget item to the continuing resolution by going to a minor social media site to say

If Republicans in the House and Senate don't get absolute assurance on election security?

They should in no way, shape, or form go forward with a continuing resolution on the budget.

This put pressure on Republicans to deliver to stay in line with

Trump. However, the attached non-budget item was a non-starter in the Senate and

could have led to a government shutdown, which less Trumpian Republicans

wanted to avoid for the sake of their own re-election chances.

It wound up stalled and now Republicans in the House and Senate are pointing their fingers at each other over what looks to be a very public failure.

In Ohio, Trump's team has leaned into baseless rumors about Haitians.

And Vance has said, quote, the American media totally ignored this stuff until Trump and
