So today we're going to talk about Trump's reported travel plans,

and boy, is it a doozy?

A trip of this kind would leave a big footprint.

So, after an extended period of spreading baseless rumors about the city of Springfield, Ohio,

the Trump campaign is reportedly attempting to work out a visit to the community soon.

The campaign hasn't announced a date and it's not even clear if one has been set yet.

But a Trump ally plans on being there on Thursday.

Vavekram a swami announced via social media that he wanted to hold a town hall and not cause

more controversy.

During the recent debate against Vice President Harris,

Trump launched into a bizarre rant about the community and made unfounded claims.

He said, quote, in Springfield, they're eating the dogs.

The people that came in, they're eating the cats.

They're eating, they're eating the pets of the people that live there.

Since then, the community has been at the center of national controversy.

There have been threats against schools and city buildings.

County buildings closed out of caution.

Members of the Haitian community have expressed fear given the tensions

that have been raised and the claims being made about their community.

And this week the Clark State being made about their community.

And this week, the Clark State College will be closed.
