So, we're going to answer a question posed that sheds a lot of light on the current state of the U.S. political situation.

Hi, I'm new to your channel. Only been listening a couple of

months. I'm a lifelong Republican who voted for Bashir and Harris in the last election,

because I just can't deal with what the Republican Party has become. I really like our governor.

He's always done the best he can for Kentucky. But now I'm

wondering if we'd be better off with a Republican governor right now. Not because he's doing a bad job.

I think he's doing great. But because I'm worried, Trump won't give us money to deal with the floods.

The governor said it was going to

take a long time to recover. Without help, it would take longer. I'm just wondering if I'm

overthinking this. And here's some extra encouragement. I've never written a YouTube channel or

radio show or anything like that ever.

I get more news from you than I do from what plays in the garage all day at work.

Trump just denied the request from Georgia's Governor Brian Kemp, who is a Republican, to extend the FEMA deadline.

That's a mostly Republican state and Republican areas led by a Republican governor,

being denied in extension to be able to file for aid. My guess is that every single state

is going to get the bare minimum of assistance from the federal government, no matter who is governor.

I think this will happen for two reasons. First, Trump really wants to give tax cuts to the wealthy. Every penny he can save can be used as justification for that.
