So today, we're going to talk about Trump ending Social Security through inaction.

Medicare and Social Security's Go-Broke date is right around the corner.

The go-broke date is the point in time when the services you've paid for will not have enough

money to pay full benefits. Medicare will be unable to provide full benefits just eight years

from now. Social Security will have to cut those meager benefits by about a fifth in just nine

years. The time to fix this is now, right now.

Trump's team put out a full court press talking about how they're going after waste.

Let me say this clearly.

That's not enough.

That won't move the needle.

If they eliminated all waste today, it might change the week

payments get cut, but not the year. Instead, Trump's agenda will actually make it impossible

for the federal government to react later. The new Congressional Budget Office numbers show

that, surprise, Trump's one big beautiful bill

will increase the deficit by even more than initially thought. The deficit increase over

the 10 years of the window is now $2.8 trillion. That's an additional $2.8 trillion over the

current deficit spending. So during the exact time

period in question, rather than working to shore up Social Security and Medicare, Trump's agenda

will make it to where the future government can't act. The longstanding belief is that it it'll work out and that the government would never just

allow those payments to be cut. Yes, they will allow it, and they're doing it right now.
